Brief background of Trustees
1) Chandru Sethuraman – Managing Trustee
Has been a Trustee since 2019.
Took up the role of Managing Trustee after Swamijis Siddhi in July 2024.
Worked with Corporates in Finance and in senior management roles with Tatas, Mahindra group. Retired as Chief Operating Officer of Mahindra World City on the outskirts of Chennai.
2) Kottaram Viswanathan Ramesh -Trustee
Has been a Trustee since February 2023
Mr.Ramesh is a religious person and deeply interested in the propagation and sustenance of vedic culture.He is currently the Managing Director of INGU S KNOWLEDGE ACADAMY PVT.LTD and is deeply involved in Skilling, Upskilling and Reskilling the youth in emerging technologies to create employment opportunities for students
3) Jakanath Poosekar – Trustee
Mr. Jakanath Poosekar, aged 40, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Corporate Secretaryship (BCS). He is an entrepreneur and serves as the CEO of Foodswing, a tech-enabled catering enterprise. Alongside his professional pursuits, he is deeply committed to community service and the preservation of spiritual traditions.
As a trustee of Shivananda Sadhana Kutir, he actively supports the management of the Kutir and Veda Patashala, working towards nurturing Vedic learning, cultural values, and spiritual growth among the younger generation. His vision is to blend professional excellence with seva (service), contributing to the trust’s mission of sustaining dharma and holistic education.
4) Sridhar B.Sc. Physics graduate and a seasoned entrepreneur – Trustee
Sridhar is a B.Sc. Physics graduate and a seasoned entrepreneur who has been successfully running a specialized foundry and machine shop with 15 CNC machines and 7 VMCs for over 45 years. He has also contributed to academia as a visiting faculty at one of Chennai’s leading institutions for 17 years. With a specialization in corrosion-resistant materials, Sridhar has played a key role in revamping industries and has collaborated with various banks on OTS (One-Time Settlement) initiatives for struggling businesses. Beyond his industrial expertise, he actively contributes to social causes — serving as a committee member of People for Animals, currently holding the position of Treasurer at Blue Cross of India, and supporting a special school for children with special needs. He is also involved in mentoring and supporting startup projects in India’s defence corridor, fostering innovation and industry growth.
